Zen Perfume by Shiseido, Zen is a womens floral woody musk perfume with citrus, floral, patchouli, fresh spicy, woody, and fruity main accords. It works well for day wear during the spring, summer, and fall months. Developed by perfumer Michel Almairac of Robertet in 2007, the scent, which is the new version of the original 1965 fragrance, has long-lasting longevity and moderate sillage. Grapefruit, pineapple, orange, bergamot, and rose top notes open this fragrance, leading to middle notes of freesia, orris, red apple, hyacinth, lily-of-the-valley, violet, gardenia, and lotus. Patchouli, cedar, incense, amber, pine, and musk base notes close this composition.
